What this is
These are the terms that govern your subscription to Boundev AI. By subscribing or booking a scoping call, you agree to them. We've kept them as short as we could. The defined terms (Subscriber, Task, Tier) match how the rest of the site uses the same words.
Subscriptions and tiers
Pilot, Growth, and Scale are month-to-month subscriptions billed via Stripe. Enterprise is a custom MSA. Tiers can be upgraded, downgraded, paused, or cancelled at any time from your account. Annual billing on Growth and Scale carries a 10% discount and is non-refundable for the year except under the first-task-free guarantee.
First task free guarantee
If your first task isn't shipped (PR ready-for-review, with passing tests, eval suite, deploy guide) within 7 business days of scope confirmation, we refund the full month's subscription. Clock pauses for blockers on your side. Tasks scoped as Enterprise on the call are not covered. The guarantee covers the first task only — subsequent tasks ship on tier cadence.
What we own. What you own.
You own all code, prompts, eval fixtures, and deployment scripts we ship into your repo — at SOW signing, not at the end of the engagement. We retain rights to our internal tooling, scaffolding patterns, and engineering playbooks. We do not retain rights to your proprietary code, your business data, or anything that identifies your customers.
Acceptable use
You won't ask us to ship code that's intentionally illegal, that violates third-party rights, or that processes data in violation of applicable privacy law. We will say no on the scoping call to anything in this category. We will say no in writing if it comes up after.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. Pro-rated refunds available on annual billing under the first-task-free guarantee. Refunds for cancelled monthly subscriptions are not standard but are honoured case-by-case for clear non-delivery.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We disclaim consequential, incidental, and punitive damages. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes go to the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware. We will respond to a notice within 10 business days before any formal proceeding.
